Legacy Logo for TV podcast in iTunes

Hi everyone,

First of all, thanks for this great service. I was really happy to find a community where people do things for one another and aren't only interested in profit.

I'm looking for a simple logo for a podcast about TV that will appear in the iTunes directory. The title is "TV Time" and the subtitle would read "With Tim & Dustin".

As for the design, I'd like it to include an image of a TV, similar to the icon for YouTube on the iPhone (attached). Actually, I really love that icon and would like to use it outright, but I don't want to get sued. So, some variation of that or an image of a retro TV that resembles it would be great.

Other than that, I'm wide open to ideas. A font that somehow sticks to the TV/retro theme might be good.

The specs for an iTunes podcast logo are as follows:

• Preferred size:
  300 pixels x 300 pixels at 72 dpi
• Format:
  JPG, PNG, uncompressed

Also, I believe the max file size is 200K.

If anyone gives this a go, I would be so grateful. I'm just starting the podcast and am not great with graphic design myself, so all help is appreciated. I could even give you and your web site a plug on our site (coming soon) and/or on the podcast if you'd like.

I actually just found a couple more images of TV sets that might work. I don't think these are copyrighted, either. I like the one on the right better, but it may be a little too small to work with. Let me know what you think.

I made the TV from scratch, so no problems on being sued! lol.

The only thought I had after seeing it was perhaps to put something on the TV screen - maybe a test pattern/color bars. That might make the image look a little too busy/colorful though. Or maybe moving the "With Tim & Dustin" part onto the screen itself, with a different color/font. What do you think? You're the expert.

But as I said, I'd be more than happy to use this as-is.
