Hi just wondered if any body could come up with a better logo

We are a portal/online magazine for Maio offering tourists and property investors listed services on Maio through adverts and classified adverts.
Maio is an in Cape Verde, almost a forgotten island with vast deserted white beaches trimmed with coconut palms and exotic flora. Maio has splendid sand dunes and white beaches. The beaches are a favourite for turtles in which to lay their eggs.

Small version to add to link websites and large enough for a heading on the website.

You can use any of the images from the website.

Pastal blues, yellows and greens representing the sea, beaches and trees

The only thing I would say is that could the green be slightly darker, e.g. leafy green?

I made the green darker. Let me know if this is what you want.

 

That is superb and spot on with the darker green.

Cape Verdian's are extremely proud of their flag. Woud it be a good idea to use the colours from the flag for the wording "Cape Verde"? e.g. red white and blue.

I've added the flag colors, but I think it makes it hard to read. Let me know what you think.

What if the color was solidly alternated between the 3 colors. Do you think that would help?

i think the alternated colours also make the text difficult to read, so maybe the flag colours should be in the outline of the box or the wave?
