Hi everyone - just cruising Google looking for a place to get a cheap logo made, and happened upon this site. You guys do some really good work.

Anyways, I'm not necessarily looking for a FREE logo. I don't know that I could send cash, but I used to run a punk distro years ago, and have a garage full of band SWAG... everything from T-Shirts to CD's, 45's, Cassettes, LPS, Colored LPs, pins, patches, stickers and more (all brand new).

If the person who creates me a logo is interested, I could send you some SWAG. You may not be into punk, but you might be able to eBay it for a few bucks.

Anyways, heres my answers to the sticky post questions:

    1) What is your website address (ex: http://site.com ; Site Name)? http://www.cheeseisgoodfood.com

    2) Description of your website: A blog for me to ramble on. It has no particular theme, and i often just post random stuff on it. The language would get an R rating at times Im sure.

    3) List 3 logo designs you really like & why:
This is a difficult question. (I dont know why that sentence ended up bold) I had a girl make me a logo for another website I run at http://www.worldwidepunks.com which I love. I like it because she provided it in very high res. With that I was able to shrink it down to fit a 3x3 sticker, and also make t-shirts out of it. Both in a small application like the stickers, and the larger t-shirt application, it's easily recognizable. Anyone who knows the site would recognize it. I once had a guy yell out the website name as he saw a small sticker of it on my car as I was leaving a party. To me, that's a good logo.

    4)
Requested size of your logo: As I said above, I would really like a logo that can be used in multiple applications (stickers, shirts, website, etc)

    5)
Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo ( only copyright free ones )? The only images I have, are the ones in my head. Like mouse, a mohawk, a leather jacket, munching cheese?? I dont really know, but I would definitly like to keep a punkrock feel to the logo. Also I would like just a logo, not anything that actually incorporates the site name in it. Like the Nike Swoosh - the word Nike is not needed with it.

    6) Any colors you prefer?
I would really prefer a black and white high res digital image, that I could digitally color if I wanted to - but Im not a very colorful guy, so black and white is more my style.

Thanks alot, and I'm glad I stumbled upon this site. As I said before... if whomever makes the logo I use is interested, I can send you some old punkrock SWAG in exchange.

    Thanks!!

    Very cool!

No time line - i've had the blog since like 2005, though my posts to it have been less than sporadic, I've started to try and post regularly... hence the quest to find a good logo... but no rush...

I checked out the site you have in your sig, and notice you do free and paid logos. And you charge extra for copyright to said logos. I'm really looking to receive 100% copyright to the logo. And maybe I should have posted this above, but I'll need a signed release of all rights to the logo.

I got totally, um... screwed, yeah, thats a PG word... by a fellow several years ago when I was running my distro, and wound up in court and it was messy and cost me a bunch of money I didn't have, over something much less than a logo. My lawyer at the time told me to always obtain 100% copyright to any material I planned to use, or not to use it.

If that's going to be an issue for you, maybe we can work something out if you design a must have logo.

Thanks, and sorry that some jerk dragged me to court and is now forcing me to post this response....
