As for me the designs are rather simple.
In fact I couldn't go to the other pages of your site in spite of the fact that I clicked NEXT button for about 5 times.

Why would you have validation warnings on your templates ???
I checked the source code with HTML Tidy.
Strange, as most templates validate, except some free ones.
HTML Tidy will automatically correct validation warnings

The green greeting that states:

is a bit overpowering. I would make this smaller. (smaller in size, not words)

I like your site and I like the colors, give a good feeling.

Definitely you need to do something about the words in the green area up top. CovertPea's image is perfect! Go with that. People like lists.

Also I noticed a grammatical error on your custom design page. The heading:
Some web 2.0 custom template example


needs a "s" at the end of "example".

Overall, nicely done.

I liked everything but the header. I feel it looks gaudy. Just too much text for the space I guess. Everything else looks orderly and well laid out.
