PHP A Password protected part with dreamweaver.

    Hello i want to protect my website iam using dreamweaver but i dont now how to make a password protected part.Can some1 tell me?

    Dreamweaver is just a tool to code websites. You will need to use a programming langauge for this like PHP or ASP which you can code with dreamweaver.

    First you need to know which programming language your host offers and which software the server runs on.

    If your server runs on Apache you don't even need PHP can use a .htaccess file.

    the website runs on a abyss webserver. And i have php installed but what is more easy php or .htaccess . And i want that user can create a account and then that the admin can say which account can acces some site and anthor accounts not.

    have you a good tip?
