Customization Help please with website template customization

Hi,

Newbie/total novice here who is pulling her hair out after trying to customize the template herself (done speaking in the third person now

I absolutely love the fashion hut template! So I downloaded it and read about a kazillion articles etc on customizing templates. I've managed to figure out a couple of things like changing images. I managed to make the background white and a few other things but at this rate it will take me a couple of years to get it finished...providing I don't go crazy first. While I can understand a tiny bit of html I do not understand much else.

I really need some help to customize the template, is there anyone who can help please? I thought I had some time to fiddle with this myself but I just found out today that might not be the case.

Also does anyone have any idea how to install a shopping cart once the template is finished? And which shopping cart is a good one?

I'm sorry for asking so much, but I am an artist (traditional at that) and not much good at this stuff. I appreciate any help.....

Thank you for asking. Should I list it here or email you? And I'm not 100% sure what all I should mention. I have read enough to know it is more complicated than I originally thought it was. For example putting the wrong thing (html) in the css thing can mess it all up....boy, was that vague or what?
