Hey everyone. I have a site that is about a month old. I've been trying like crazy to get more traffic to my website. I just recently bought my own domain, and am still waiting for the name servers to update, but here is my soon to be old link: www.freewebs.com/pleasewebegyou

My new link will be www.lovingfromadistance.com

Any ideas? What I've tried so far: going onto long distance relationship forums and giving advice (link in the signature), I've written a couple articles and have them published on 3 different article websites (having trouble getting people to click on the url at the bottom of the articles, hopefully more will click once I get the new domain on there), I have a page on squidoo, a promotional video on youtube, and I've done the search engine optimization thing with all the best keywords/phrases for my topic. I submitted a sitemap to google so they can crawl all my pages.

Is there anything else I should try that has worked for you?

I would advice more articles. As for me three articles is not too much.
The more links to your site you have the better is ranking, so more people can see your site and visit it. Good luck!

I actually wrote 2 articles, and they have been submitted to 3 different article websites (articlemark, ezinearticles, and searchwarp) They are pending on two other article websites: articlegeek and articlecity. So it will be like having 10 links out there.

Change anchor texts in the links which lead to your site. I don't think you would like Google treat your articles like spam
