Software Os Commerce

    Does anyone have any experiance with OS Commerce? I saw a ebay item for like 60 templates for 5 bucks. I know how to install and what not, but what my question is. If i purchase these templates is it a full install everytime or do upload a theme or somthing like Gallery2.

    No idea, When i plan to purchase a template from template monster. I do worry is that a complete oscommerce package.

    I would just get free ones.
    And I would also use....
    Open Cart.
    But, that's just me.
    I usually find Open source software easier to create a design for, and mod (if needed).

    No it is not a full install, just a template.
    Be sure to back up all you work with notes due to the fact that when a new fix or version update comes out for osc you will have to do a major reinstall of all your mods and templates. The osc camp is taking about going the zencart route. Both carts have the roots and alot of mods are usable in both. Besides 5 bucks is cheep.

    Thanks Guy's your imput is awsome and i'll take a look at open cart, pez. I think i finally got the awnser to my first post on this site, to funny. I stumbled upon this site looking for templates for OSC.

    Don't forget to look at zencart as it is template based with css. So if an upgrade for the cart comes out all your work and mods are not lost. If you want to change a template no problem.
