I'm trying to embed a sound file to the index page of a site that i'm creating in Dreamweaver 8 but having bother getting it to work.

I select an area on the page then place a "plugin" within that area.

I can get a .wav file to work but i'd like to use a .mp3 instead.

I get the following error when I try to apply the .mp3 file:

"Unable to find the plugin that handles this type of media. Dreamweaver looks in both the "Configuration/Plugins", folder, and the plugins folder for each of your installed browsers."

I've copied the .dll files from the plugin folder of my browsers to the dreamweaver plugins folder but this doesn't cure the problem.

Can anyone assist me with this fault?

I've also looked through various forums and video tutorials on tutvid, youtube for advice but can find any.

    Also...

Could someone tell me how to "hide" and "loop" the plugin player/file within the page? Do you have to enter a code in for this or is there an option in the design view?

    Thanks,

    Bryan
