Flash Help with Fade

I'm trying to create a very basic intro page for a writer's discussion group.

All I really want is in image near the top and in the bottom I want some text to fade in and out. I want it to be black text on a white background and the cycle should be:

White - Fade in Text 1 - Fade to White - Fade in Text 2 - Fade to white - Fade in text 1, etc.

I've seen this all over the place but now I can't seem to find any infomation that will let me do it.

I'm open to making the "Text" into an image if I need to, and although I'd like the text or image to link to a page it is not critical.

Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.

All right. If flash is the best way to go then maybe you can supply another answer. What programs do I need to get started in Flash?

I'll try. Right now I'm trying to get the content of my site (www.dcroe.com) set, so that when my template is ready I just have to worry about the coding.

The site as it is now, is 3 iterations of the same free flash templete, and I don't like it, which is why I requested a templete here.

So right now I'm trying to figure out how to get a blog up, decipher CSS and try to figure out Flash.

But if I have an epiphany, I'll pass it along. :D
