I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to design a football team badge for me.

I have mocked up an idea minus the colours in a very poor drawing!!!
Details below though to help out:

    1)
What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

    Gresford Athletic Football Cub

    2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)

    http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/gresfordathletic/

    3) Description of your website or business:
Welsh amateur football club looking for an official badge for use on kits and as profile pictures on our facebook and twitter page.

    4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
the style you are looking for?

I like the style of the new New York City badge. I would like the name of the club on the outside, with 'Est 1946' at the bottom. Inside the circle I would like the letters GA. I would these in a similar style as the following if possible:

    http://www.trademarkia.com/company-gilmour-academy-3629774-page-1-2

    5) Requested size of your logo:
    High resolution, around 460x460.

    6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
    No

    7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
    Text only as per example

    8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
    Red, black and white.

    9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
    any other than above

    10) Describe the target audience for your logo
For members of our squad to wear on strips, training wear etc and to give a professional outlook to provisional sponsors, opponents league officials etc.

    11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
    N/A

    12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
The logo will be seen on our facebook and twitter pages and also sent to companies who specialise in printing and embroidery on clothing.

    13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
    No

    14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.

    Many thanks

    Matt

    Hello Matt,
Firstly, thanks for helping out around the site. Much appreciated.
I'm off to work in a few minutes but I'll give your crest a go this afternoon.

    Cheers

Changing to badge to modern times. Makes you wonder how many times over the years they tweaked it and what it looked like along it's journey. You don't have any old files to so, do ya!

I'm afraid we don't. The badge has not really changed much at all. It has had a bell on it in recent years which signifies the Village Church but other than that the old badge was just a plain black outlined crest with words only. I suppose we are going back to that in a sense but hopefully with a more up to date feel to it? I have attached what it looks like today.

Here's similar to what you're after. Can't reproduce the 'AG' exactly as there may be copyright issues to consider.
Also found another old logo of yours, perhaps a modernisation of the three would be a thought?

    Matt,
Just curious to know what the plant/flower is on your last 2 crest designs?

Wow many thanks - That's fantastic but if you think ypou could do a moderisation too that would be great. The leaf is supposed to symbolise a Yew Tree Leaf as we have a large Yew tree near our pitch.

Personally I prefer the round one - Could you do it with a soccer ball in the centre ratherthan the letters just to compare? Again - many thanks
