• The Structure of my website:
  The formatting of the site will be a cross between a dating site and sites like https://www.childfund.org/Sponsor/; each person listed will be able to share their story in text and/or video format. There will be a "like" button for each profile, as well as a "Donate Now" button. The standard web pages will also be included (e.g. Home, About Us, etc.)

  This site idea is near and dear to my heart because I'd like to see people helping others succeed.
  
  The U.S. business climate has changed to the extent, that one needs a degree to clean toilets (e.g. custodial engineer), yet, there are many talented individuals who, for one reason or another, are capable of doing great work, but unable to raise the funds needed to go to (or go back to) college or trade school.
  
  I want to help change this reality!

Welcome to FWT! It's great to hear that there are still people out who would like to make the world a better place to be in, and even more awesome to know that we can play a part!

The template references from FWT that you've given us appear to be very different from the dealguardian website reference you showed. Also, I can't access the PWC2 website. Do you have any other website references that we can refer to?

Thanks for giving us details about what your website will be about/like. It will help, however, if you can furnish us with more details as to how the website will appear visually. When you say "each person listed will be able to share their story in text and/or video format", do you mean that a slideshow of individuals? Or do you mean a vertical listing?

First, "each person listed will be able to share..." refers to either a slideshow, or vertical listing. As you can see from the FWT templates I liked, it could be formatted either way.

My preference would be a slide show because I think it would be more modern. Also, I'd like some type of "like" button feature that compiles all of the donors favorites so they can easily review their choices later.

Also included would be a "fund now" button which could be selected either during the initial review of the slideshow or after compiling their favorites.

Second, I provided the DealGuardian and the pwc2 URL's because the instructions simply said list (any) other sites I liked. BTW - here's the real link for the pwc2 site: https://www.secureinfossl.com/affProgram/EBS-affiliate-program/55279

I really like how both sites are set up, and their use of video introductions.

As far as sites that are relevant to my cause, the childfund.org/sponsor site is closest to what I'd like to accomplish, but I really think we can do a better job of capturing the essence of profiling individuals than their version.
