Hello all been awhile but you probably remember me as the guy who pestered you all for a team badge and a sponsor logo design which CP and Forst very kindly made for me.

So I'm not really a computer genius or any kind of genius to be fair lol But i made a site for my team and just wanted to see what you all think.

Thanks Ruthe and this site and its members have been fantastic to me and my club as they gave us a real authentic look with the crest an sponsor design plus members answering questions I had on website building and reading through threads on here gave me enough knowledge to be able to create a website for my team :)

I really appreciate all the help I have received and so pleased I found this site last year.

    Hi Clint

You may not be aware but I am the fixtures Sec for the MK & Border Counties League, sort out Leagues for U12 - U18 so have a very big interest in football, and as I'm in Milton Keynes not too far away from you, once I get an invite to come watch a game (yes with all the frills e.g a cuppa) i'd love to come see a match...PM me details and will arrange?

Hello Forest sorry I haven't replied sooner been a manic few days sorting things out for this football team. Fair play on doing the fixtures as I have a friend that does that for our local league and it keeps him pretty busy. Once I have everything fully established I will send you an invite as right now I don't get a minute to think on match day as the parents are constantly asking me questions while I'm trying to get the kids settled for a match. It's a nightmare but I'm sure it will get better ! I hope lol

    Hi Clint,

The website looks great. I like the contrasting colours along with the size of text which should help aid readability for some of the "parents/older readers" ;) it is also vibrant enough for the youngsters in the team and I feel you have a great foundation there to build upon.

All the best for the coming season mate

Really like the way you have done your website Clint. Very sharp, tidy and easy to navigate, great colours and documents section. Would possibly include results, match reports section. Gave me a few ideas for our own website.

    Thanks :)

    Thanks for the feedback :)

Unfortunately we are not allowed to pubish any form of match results/reports as it is now none competetive at this age group but in a few years it is defo something i will conisider.

Hey its a great site, very simple yet it works, maybe add some reviews of matches, a blog each week from.different players, some photos. Keep up the good work

    Hi Clint
    Great-looking website!
I developed one (from a template, admittedly) for our youth team and found it really useful as a 'one-stop shop' for all club information. There was even a facility for players to confirm their availability and the team manager to select & publish his squad for each match - the only snag was getting all of the players to buy into it!
Match reviews/reports - as mentioned above - are a great idea, as is the inclusion of photographs. I'm not sure whether you are able to 'protect' your site with member log-ins etc but, if so, permission can be sought/given via the 'Respect' paperwork. Now that our team has, sadly, had to 'fold' due to them reaching the age of U17 and having many more committments etc, our website remains as a great record and reminder of the 6 or 7 seasons spent together - and it's very interesting to see how they've all changed over that period of time!
Anyway, feel free to have a look at www.pitchero.com/clubs/waldenwanderers and please shout if i can be of any assistance!
    Hope you're having a good season :)

    Hi cbbazza
It was only just yesterday I was looking at pitchero as a team we play this weekend use it. I have to say it looks quite impressive, and I like all the details you can add to it like a news feed. My site has been ok till now but it isn't the best to update, and the hosting is shocking as it doesn't work on old explorer versions. We are looking to starting up an extra team next season and with this growth pitchero is the way I will be going. Creating us a site with them will now be my closed season project as well as a bit of fishing ;)

Good stuff! I think you'll find that Pitchero has everything you need - and the more 'interactivity' you can coax out of your players, the more effective it becomes! If you have a club Twitter feed that shows up on the homepage too. The admin can look a bit complicated at first but it's really easy once you get the hang of it - by all means give me a shout if i can help. Good luck! :)
