Legacy New Football Club Badge

Hi, I am looking for a badge for my Sunday league side and haven't got a clue where to start. After trawling the internet I came across your site and would like a new design if you don't mind please. I am willing to offer opinions on the designs of others, answer any questions other members may have and also welcome any input others can give me. Not sure what it mean, but the kit supplier said they need a vector logo, I hope this means more to you guys than it does to me.

1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Moorland Stars F.C. (positioning not important). If the words "Est. 2007" can be incorporated too please then that would be great.


2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?

3) Description of your website or business:We are an amateur Sunday League side who have just been promoted to the Premier division of the Lazarou Cardiff Sunday Football League. Originally a group of mates who starting playing together for something to do on a Sunday.

4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
the style you are looking for?
the three designs here were taken from http://uefaclubs.com/html/S.html I like these designs as the star is the focal point of the badge and this portrays the club name Moorland Stars

5) Requested size of your logo:
Firstly the logo will be embroidered onto our team kits, then once the website is finished it will go on there too.

6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
I don't have any, sorry. Any basic star will be fine.
7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
The best option would be a similar design to the Steau Bucharest logo above. A simple design with the club name in text and our year of foundation somewhere.


8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
Our club colours are Maroon and Sky Blue. If possible I would like these on the badge somewhere but the shirt is prodominantly maroon and I would want the badge to stand out on this.

9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
Ideally not orange as this is the colour of our current away kit and I'd like the badge to stand out.

10) Describe the target audience for your logo
The audience will only be my team and those we play against. and eventually everyone who visits our website.

11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
The Star as a centre piece to promote our name.
The year of formation, 2007.
The club colours of Maroon and sky should be in there somewhere but not necessarily the main colours.

12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?The logo is only planned to go onto our kits and website at the moment.

13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
I think everything has been covered above.

14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
You guys are the experts and would leave this up to you. I wouldn't know where to start!!!

No problem, anything for a fellow Forest fan!!! As I'm not one for technology I've done some research and tried to get some badges in different file formats and hopefully you should be able to view at least one of each. I really do apologise if all of them work (or worse... all don't!!!)

I like the idea of the shield/crest type centrepiece of the three badges and would like a star very focal. Another idea was a shooting star instead of a wreath around the edges!!! Open to suggestions though

Thanks guys, 1970, What i like about your design is the "A" in stars thats from the star. I like the shape of the shield too, a great start. Alfonso, out of those 3 I think I prefer the third one. Excellent designs though, I would probably rank them from right to left if I'm being honest. I would like "Est. 2007" on the badge somewhere please
