Legacy Can someone help with a football team crest/badge?

Hi,

If anyone can help that would be great.
We have a recently new church side and have played without a badge or any identity.
Could someone help create one?

I'd like a shield with a banner underneath. Something like, Stoke City, Wales Football, Alloa, Wrexham etc.

Colours are orange and black.

I would like the shield to contain:
Something football related, maybe a football, and the S and cross of the Salvation Army.

I'd like the banner to contain, Winton Wanderers FC and EST 2010 somewhere too.

If you can help that would be great.

Hi bud, I know the rules, I have been browsing the site a while and signed up last night, so I could post a request. I'd love to be able to create but can only give ideas.
I will contribute to the site more as and when I feel I can. I love the idea of creating kits and badges (huge FM fan) so my input will be available.

I have looked around, as my design skills are null, ideas in my mind are a plenty but I struggle to get them onto paper.

Loving the logo though! I like the simpler ones and the EST and WWFC bit is perfect.

1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Winton Wanderers FC, EST 2010. I would like it on a 'banner' under a shield, much like Stoke FC, Wales, Wrexham.

I have no images. I am quite open minded, but a modern design with black/orange colours and the S and Cross of the Salvation Army would be included in a design.

I would like a shield with a banner below and the text to be on the banner.

8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
Orange and Black mainly, if there is a bit of white that is fine.

Any others.

10) Describe the target audience for your logo
Aimed at the football market and we are a new, modern and young side who do a lot of youthful outreach. So modern and stylish for the younger generation.

11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
I would like to communicate we are a football team. Also a church based one, with the Salvation Army S and cross.

12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
It will be used on the website. Maybe eventually onto the shirts.

13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
If anyone is able to create something then a huge thank you to you. We are looking for an identity for the club and I feel the badge will do this. Also a huge thanks to designers out there.

14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
There is no preferencial style of font. An easy readable font would be best.

I showed a couple of the team the badge, the general concensus is it is very good, so thank you for that!

A few ideas were as followed:

1) maybe have the S and cross bigger and the ball smaller but on top of the cross roads bit of the cross.
2) Make the ball bigger and have the S and Cross on the ball but visible.

Ideally, I would like 4 different badges and have a vote from the team.

If anyone else can help or have ideas please comment.

1970Forest, that is pretty awesome, thank you for your effort, much appreciated.
I would never expect 4 from this site, I can appreciate how much time and effort goes into these things, just wondered if there were any other ideas out there that would have a slightly different twist.

I don't get the hostility ishkey? I'm always on here looking around putting in input where I feel I can, browsing sites to see if I can give a review. If I could create logos etc then I would, but I'm always checking out threads and am enjoying the website. Where I feel I can help I do?

 

BS_8, it's not hostility. It's his responsibility to remind all requesters to give back. Moreover, it's extremely often for requesters to just take...and we, the designers, put in so much effort into making a logo (or something) for the requesters -- do you know how much effort we spend to make a logo for someone? I've had to make about 60 drafts for just one person once...And trust me, I'm busy as heck with my life outside of this forum...especially with finals coming up!

All in all, we're just trying to remind requesters to give back to the forum. If we sound short-tempered, then it's not because we are -- we're just being straight-forward.

I don't think in any of my posts I have been rude or assertive or anything as such and don't get me wrong I appreaciate the time and effort and the fact you all have lives to live.
I think what you are doing is an amazing thing and hopefully will continue to do.
For those that take without giving then I'm sorry to hear that, but some of us are genuine, enjoy reading the forum and spend a bit of time looking.
I feel I have a creative mind and can help with ideas etc but there is no way I could be able to create something like you guys do.
