Hi, I don't know if this is the write place, It says java SCRIPT, so guessing it's about words. Read some posts and they're straight over my head. Anyway, on my pc the wording on my website is fine. However, on my friends laptop it's all over the place and looks a complete mess. I'm hoping someone can tell me in baby language to click on something to put it right. yes, i'm a complete technophobe. Thanks for your time, it's very much appreciated. Oh, website if you want to check it is - www.magicalsolutions.org Enjoy your day everyone, and thanks again:)

A little Counseling for the counselor -
Reading the "Sticky Post" at the top of this forum or a simple search in any search engine for "java SCRIPT" would have alleviated the guessing part.
(post moved here, better chance of being viewed)

On this I will need to guess (as it showed up fine on my browser)
One area may be type of browser (IE is different than FireFox)
If this is the problem, use if IE then statements
    CSS - Conditional comments
    -
or the browser may have a different resolution
You may want to use a fluid layout (uses % for size - not fixed)
The Perfect Fluid Width Layout | CSS-Tricks
    Fixed vs Fluid Website Layouts
    -
You need to check how the site shows up on different browsers
    Try Browser shots
Check Browser Compatibility, Cross Platform Browser Test - Browsershots
    -
    hope this helps

Hello Cathy, if you still need help putting your website right maybe I can help. I’m currently developing a CMS where you can use to build websites using templates. The templates can be from any sources such as from this site or from my partner, who is a top notch designer. Those templates should work on all computers since they are thoroughly tested. Let me know and I will work with you to set it up.

Hey Falcon, I think those suggestions are over her head (sorry Cathy:eek:)

Hi all, many thanks for all help and suggestions. You're right Tom, I had no idea what Falcon was showing me (thanks though Falcon). I've looked at the website on both aol and firefox on my pc and it's fine on both. Tom, I would very much appreciate your help. Thanks again :)

:( What the ****. I've just looked again on both firefox and aol, and it's not right on either. Sentences stop mid way and start a new line. Not as bad as on friends laptop, where it made new paragraphs mid sentence. It was ok on mine, I dont see how it can change. Please dont waste your time trying to explain as I doubt I'd have a clue what you were saying. Please just help me fix it

I took a closer look of your website and I agree with you, it's a mess :0( lol

If you want, I can fix it up for you. The best way would be just to give me your hosting account info (via PM).

    Hi Cathy,

Got your info. Your website is managing by Microsoft Office Live Small Business which I know nothing of. However, I will look into this and hopefully I can learn enough that will allow me to fix some of the problem. I will keep you posted.

Integrative psychotherapy may involve the fusion of different schools of psychotherapy. The word 'integrative' in Integrative psychotherapy may also refer to integrating the personality and making it cohesive, and to the bringing together of the "affective, cognitive, behavioral, and physiological systems within a person".[

I think I found the problem. In one of the Office Live Help pages there is this one item:
I believe you copied the contents from another source (perhaps Microsoft Word?), into the web pages. It is quite involved to correct this error. Give me a day or two to update all the pages for you. Once they are updated DO NOT copy content from another source. You must use the build-in editor to make changes.

Hi Falcon, on my certificates it says integrative psychotherapy, as I use all 3 appraoches. On my Meta certificate, it says Meta Medicine Health coach. I combined the 2. I spent ages deciding what to put, as I cant think of anything else to cover it all. Any suggestion ? I'm open to changing it.
    Many thanks :)
