Websites Paranormal Website Review

Hey guys, I help out on here as much as I can and thought maybe you guys can help me out with my website. If possible, let me know of anything I can change to get everything flowing better. If you'd add games or anything like that just some fun stuff to make the website look better, or be more fun. Thanks in advance for all of the comments!!

I think this site idea is pretty cool. I'll have to check back when you have more posts. The only thing that I can suggest would have to do with your picture tab. The pictures are okay, but I'm not sure what I'm looking at in each photo ~ so if you could add explanations to go with your photo's, that would help.

 

See, I have tried several times but for some reason it messes up the pictures. It deletes some and overlaps others when I add captions. It's really weird but I will keep trying.

 

The best I could come up with is captions at the very bottom of the page.

 

Could you upload fewer pictures...or maybe just include them in a specific post so that way you can describe them a bit better? I'm sorry ~ I wish I had a better suggestion for you.

 

I tried doing that too, it's really weird to work with the restrictions of a blog, but I don't really have the funds to purchase a domain name since WIPS is a non-profit organization.

account, use that to code html and use there free hosting.
and maybe coding the website on ur comoputer with Adobe dreameaver then uploading to webs.com as with blog when u click the picturee it just opens it in a blank window with just the picture. this is why u cannot add a capation.

Looks good. Be interesting to follow what you add to the site.

 

More positives than negatives. Very good background, but you could make it even more interesting with slides of images from well-known paranormal effects.
You should also make a comment on the pictures, rather than on the end of the page, so the pictures would actually describe what is seen on them.

The idea of putting links to games is pretty cool though!

Although the site is very well-laid out but it lacks anything to distinguish itself from any other Blogspot blog. Might I suggest a different font or background?

 

Nice site. User friendly and not too much going on. Suggestions:
Under "about us", who, specifically is "us", and what credentials does each person have?
Noticed your "donate" widget, but nothing about how much you charge (if anything) for services.
Only other suggestion I would have is to perhaps add in some links to news articles about paranormal experiences (without marketing a competitor), perhaps a link to top 10 rarely know about places to visit?

 

You might want to describe how you investigate the occurrence.
What you are looking for, what equipment you use. How to know what is fake and what is real.
Paranormal psychology is real and can be observed. Universities have checked it with special equipment (ie. temperature measurement, sound recording, picture recording, magnetic disturbance, etc.). Do you use any of their reports and try to duplicate them. Also you may want to include some of their reports on your site (to give it some more validity).

This isn't really a review but more of a comment ...

I made the 2 logo's for the shirts they are selling. On the site it says to e-mail them if you're interested in purchasing them. I've e-mailed them a number of times and they just won't reply. I thought it would be cool to buy one of each shirt considering I created the design. Maybe they don't have the shirts made up yet. I don't know.

 

I don't think your email was intentionally ignored; probably not getting much requests so no longer checking the email regularly.

 

I guess that makes sense. I did noticed their FaceBook page isn't too active.

The site overall is ok, I do not like the background of it and the way you have the stories moving up and down, I would change it to just one column so that a person wont get dizzy searching and navigating thru the site

 

the website is pretty interesting. i like that you included the technology that you use when investigating. the background of the website was pretty cool. i thought it was easy to navigate. one thing i might recommend is making the pictures of you guys a little more professional, it might give you more credibility.
