Others App Review

Just wanted to know some thoughts on my simple app regarding the colour scheme etc.

I have had a few that say they don't like the background and a few that say they do so just want to get some feedback on the design and any ideas for improvements?

Had to enable signatures to see it :< I like the background, but I guess I can see why people might not. I think a higher res wood texture would look much better - Not overly detailed, as it could potentially obscure the text/button, but it sorta looks like a small image has been disproportionately stretched to fit the screen.

Haha I knew that was coming from you! but yeah I will be hitting the Android market soon as well though.

I see where you're getting at. I didn't actually see that until I thought about it but yeah I guess changing to a higher resolution would help quite a bit.

ohhhh I got it now yeah would be a good idea as some might not like the colour of it but having their own choice could change their views.

How many people have downloaded your app? Its possible you might make more money by making it free and putting ads on it.

 

Yeah i'm working adding that feature in within the next 2 updates or something but at the moment not very much I remember putting it on for free as a launch offer and got a ton of downloads and when it went back to the original price sales just went really low so i'm thinking about it see how it goes for a while.

 

All this app talk gave me an idea, what about an app that generates logos for you?

Like, you select shapes, backgrounds, text etc and put the app renders it for you.

 

Good idea. It could work. Nowadays what ever idea you think off is mostly on the app store you just have to copy it and make it better lol

 

GG I agree with ish on the skins, it offers the opportunity to appeal to everyone and personalize.

 

Thanks guys. Yeah I think I will add that feature in it definitely would change someone's view on it to know they can make the app look to their own style.
