Im still messing around with the logo, but i have a question.

Whats the best way to "Spice up" the circle logo? I feel like its kinda plain, do anyone have any designer advice?

Thanks for the hint about the black outline forest.
Here i tried one without the bezel on the blue circle.

    Advice....no, help ...will try
You will get there in the end, just keep working on it!!!
Jazz up a circle, it's each to their own on this.
IMPO, working with a beveled 'E' will always kill the design unless it too is beveled, 2 styles in 1 logo very rarely goes (that's my tip for the day)

This is a 'grass' pattern overlay on a copy of the blue ring bit. Blending set to "Color Burn at 43% opacity.
The shine on top is a simple shape and layer mask of transparent to white gradient set at 38% op.

This is what is great about this forum, HELPING each other.

Great work there JMG, I have tweaked your idea too (hope you don't mind) I've made the ray of light straight through the E so all looks in line, and marbled the circle. Some great ideas here Lady and Gents!!!

Sorry E, I deleted the psd and already cleaned pc, but to get the effect use your Magic wand on the original, then bevel soft, play with the gradient and add a sunburst stroke.

No probs in asking and as you have seen when you show willing on the forum members do not mind sharing, that's how most get started and has got to be the best way of learning
