    Hi Peeps

    Please review this nikkisbeautytreatments.co.uk it has been a joint effort between me and Ishkey (ok just Ishkey) to get this up and running

    Man you would not believe the hassle (book being published soon) we have had, but hope the hard work has been worth it

    All comments / suggestion would be warmly welcomed (remember you can be banned :rolleyes: we have the power:p)

    Right I just wrote lines and lines of a review for that site and went back by accident and now lost it so i'll write it out again later :p

    lol haha they're not that bad reviews i'll actually do it now but it's very minor things..

    The image on the bottom left on the first page is kind of blurred..not sure if the legs and dangling flowers have been cut and put into the image?? The text goes into the background which makes it harder to read so maybe darkening the text a little might help? and also it has a think white transparent border around it not sure what that's for?

    The logo quality is a little low meaning it's got some fuzziness to it same thing goes with the logo on the Sitemap..could make it into a vector logo OR try converting it to a PNG and use that and also if you like you can link it back to the home page as i've seen that done many times on a lot of sites but then again not sure if she's going to change that?? I have a few beauty designs that I haven't used so can send them to you to check out if it's going to be changed.

    The colour scheme is quite good I like it..Suits the audience and the contact form is quite simple and not much to write so would be actually be used which is good lol BUT this is just me being picky here but where you have written 'Need an appointment, Have a question for Nikki'..shouldn't there be a question mark after those 2 lines?

    On the 'About' page you have bullet points near the bottom of the page but they're stuck against the border of the image so just need to indent that a bit. Also on the first paragraph of that page on the 2nd line where it says 'She is always reliable and very flexible' you have a capital 'S' for she but a comma before it so not sure whether the comma is meant to be a full stop or the 'S' meant to be small?

    The floral design on the bottom right of each Purple box is a little blurred but not too much so you can get away that :p

    Other then that it's a pretty good job on the site..looks simple but yet professional..Great job guys!

    I should be able to get hold of the vector file from printers for the header, so hope that does the trick.

    Just tried to re-do Header (Brock script) and it does come out fuzzy'ish no matter how I do it.

    GG / Mr Ish...any thoughts to smooth it out?

    Which part of the header did you sharpen up? It does look fuzzy..how did you do it? try putting the drop shadow a little less too. I think it's a little too much do it so that the shadow it self looks like a back outline so drop the blur on it too if you get me?

    I think GG pretty much covered it but one thing struck me. I found it pretty hard to find where she is based. There is one mention of Milton Keynes on the, about page. I just feel that as this is a one to one service, her location and areas in which she works is very important and should be more prominent somewhere on the site.

    The website looks great I like the simplicity of it.
    The color scheme is almost perfect I would however remove the aqua blue from the color scheme and stick to the colors on the treatments page. The treatments page design looks great, but I would change the text in HTML instead of an image. Same goes for the price list page.

    Just my opinion here not that you need to make any changes, the site works and looks good as it is.

    Some good points coming out

    Agree there should be the area 'Milton Keynes' to be prominant somewhere
    Cheers Mimoun, never really noticed the aqua links, yes a better blend would look good
    As to the to picture pages; eventually would hope to convert to HTML, but the stress this one caused I don't blame Mr Ish at all for doing it this way, but HTML would be easier in case of price changes, new treatments etc

    it is blured - there was a different one but last minute I was given a change and just couldn't work it out in my brain. It needs to be something to go along with Waxing (hair removal) Anyone who wants to create one feel free.

    Check it now I tried but it is a hard font to work with.

    Sounds good just waiting on Forest (boss man)

    Must be a MAC thing as I have looked at with opera FF and IE looks fine.

    I am lost on this one.
    The floral was meant to be that way.
    Thanks for all the input.

    We started with one color set, then were told shades of purple but were not given the shades, at the 11th hour recieved the graphics I used for those pages and I was just worn out playing with the Levels Control to re-adjust all the graphics again for the 3rd time. (you might say I had no hair left to pull on) I'll change it latter as you are right - you had to notice :rolleyes:

    All I can say is that is not by anyway because of me - I believe the owers are still duking that one out. I, like you, think if you are offering a service to the public that they have to find you somehow.

    Man Forest you are getting some Great feed back. Thanks Everyone.

    Mr Ish, I know great feedback, take a bow sir :rolleyes:

    The pic I will do, but if anyone else would like to give it a bash feel free too

    Aqua blue could go to a dark mauve/purple?

    The capatial S thing, I can't see it as there is a full stop in front (unless you already changed it?

    Can't see the bullet point, all lines up fine with IE and Opera this end or the tab colouring.

    The Brock font looks much better

    Maybe for now until the owners decide we could have 'Home Studio Based in Newport Pagnell nr Milton Keynes' ?

    HTML, no rush Mr Ish, as we both know the stress of this one...lol

    Again Great Work Sir, very happy to have worked (used as tongue in cheek) with you on this :)

    oh yes very much so.
    Great work.
    Uploaded it and fixed some of those other thngs.
    Played with the menu tabs - tried a lighter color like the Massage area on home page and just looked bad. I think what is there goes with the rose petals but hey what do I know I'm color blind. :)
