Precise Calculator Tutorial is to help students use the free calculator software. The formulas and references are also to help students. I
am interested in better ways of presenting the material to make it easier on students.

I don't know if it's just my computer or browser (Chrome), but nothing is lined up (for example, the fig.2 is out in the middle of the page, and the HOME FORUM ARTICLES buttons are scattered around randomly at the top), some of the links arent working.

Also, I don't like the background color at all.

As far as the material it looks pretty easy to follow, except for the font size/type.

    My comments:

Not a fan of the light blue - looks amateurish.

There needs to be a more clearly defined header. The listed purpose of the site is completely lost (I missed it at first)

Font used for Articles/Forum/Home buttons is all pixelated (I'm using Opera browser)

I'd crop the screenshots so there is consistency (some show windows border, others don't)

The text on many of your descriptions doesn't line up.

I'm having the same problems viewing your site. The button for "Home" is on the left and the buttons for "Articles" and "Forums" is all the way over on the far right.

If it were me, I would change your screen shots. Right now, they are extremely hard to read because they are fuzzy. This is because you've taken a small sized screen shot and have blown up the dimensions...which means the screen has to stretch the original photo size. If you need screen shots that are that big, make sure the final screen shot you use is the same size. Hope that makes sense ;)

    Nice program have you made!
But look after the website. Try to have images(the screenshots) with higher resolution and try to lignup it better for widescreen monitors.
    Keep it up!

All the content is great, it just needs to be more pleasing on the eye. Maybe a different, slightly larger font and slightly smaller pictures, maybe with the picture under the text, centralised in a box (if that makes sense), instead of running all the way across the screen. Just my 2 pence :)

I just converted this page into the mathematics site. Please let me know what you or the members here think.

    @ tomw
in my IMHO a width: 960px; is cramping the sites main center info and a tad old.
maybe increase the width or dump the right column and add the contents of it to the left.
it would make for a better read with less scrolling.

Hello. Looking over your sight I relized a few things... 1 being that I need to brush up on my algebra because a lot of the screen shots may as well be in greek :) The top section of the page seems a little busy. I would align Form, Articles, Home, and menu button in one line and center it. Also, the links (related articles) seem a little out of place. I am not sure if it is possible, but could you have one link button that brings you either to a separate page, or to the bottom of the page where the links can have their own section? I like the Picture though and the page is very clear. I agree on the screen shots comments as well. have you consider just reducing the size of the images on the website? That should improve the clarity. Good luck!!!

Of course, I just opened the page to the newer site :) It looks great though. I really like the appearance of the page and the layout meshes much better. The only reccomendation I can really make about this one is that I still don't really know what your product is. I have a basic idea, but If I am a less than informed parent planning to buy this for my kid what exactly am I getting? I would like to see a "dumbed-down" description. Why is this better or how is it different from a TI calculator, etc?

    Hi falcon,
All I got was a blank peach screen. I tried it 4 times. It could be my pc, though it's working with everything else. I'm using aol.

I too would find useful a highlighted description of the overall product in the header of the page, in concise sentences that anyone would understand (the one now is quite small and invisible).
    A couple of other things:
    - add some interactive elements on the page (a couple of links so that one doesn't need to scroll that much)
    - align the menu buttons in a single line
    - put the links to Related articles at the bottom of the page
