    5) Requested size of your logo:
Basically we ask this to determine the graphics resolution and what it will be eventually used for.
    High

    6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
Soccer ball of course and possibly a palmetto tree. Not sure if I would really want that in there though. MAJOR NOTE: Is it possible to add 2 small stars somewhere, like above or below? Two teams associated with the Club have won the state championship recently and we would like to have that represented.

    7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
    Text and Image

    8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
    Red (#FF0000), White, and Black

    9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
    Weird freaky colors haha

    10) Describe the target audience for your logo
Needs to look professional. It needs to catch the eye of teens, adults, and coaches.

    11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
    Pride, Passion, Purpose

    12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
It will be used on Jerseys, Paperwork, Posters, and almost anything under the sun.

    13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
Our club has been around since 1996 and has slowly grown to what it is today. By adding a creative, eye catching logo, we feel that this would help attract other young players around the area to our club.

    14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
Font can be determined by the designer because the font can make or break the design.

Here is another one for you to look at razgriz537.
I looked at your designs in the main post but to me you seem to be leaning toward the more modern. Correct me if I'm wrong. Not sure what elements you are looking for out of the 3 you posted as you didn't say.

    Design

ishkey: Sorry about not being specific. I can see things in my head, but it's hard to exactly say what I am looking. Also, could you make the background be white and the words "Barnwell Soccer Club", be red and the soccer ball be white and black like an actual ball?

modman: That looks really good. Is there any possible way to put bullets or some type of symbol in between the three words at the bottom? To separate them slightly.

Sorry that I am not more specific. I see images that have details that I like. but I am not sure how they incorporate with each other. You all do very good with the designs and creativity. Thank you for taking the time to work on this.

Yep I used to see a lot of things in my head, back in the sixties & seventies, now only an occasional flashback. It's really not that hard to break it down into it's parts and put it into writing. Kinda like coaching kids, some you can give general advice to, others you have to take it in stages, part by part to help develop their skills. Wouldn't you say.

Anyway here is a re-due and I added a zip file with a white and red shirt and the logo on it, just view it in your browser, it's a tad large.

Just was tinkering and came up with this, thought I post it up.

I understand. I have players like that. Some get the general idea and some have to be shown each detailed part. The first shield is pretty big. Is their any way to... make it slightly smaller? The second one looks pretty good. Also, how did you find those pictures? I know the girl in the photo.

See with the first shield, our primary club colors are red, black, and white. Our usual kits are: 1) Red jersey, black shorts & socks 2) White jersey, red shorts & socks 3) All black (occasionally) So would there need to be 2 different smaller versions of the 1st shield?

But like I said, the second one looks pretty nice! I like it!

Yes I have. I help where I can with simple things and do a review when someone needs one. I'm not a computer wiz and the question about graphics & templates is over my head. So even though what help I give may seem miniscule, it is all I can do. I appreciate the time that is taken to look and work on my request, but I understand that everyone has work and other things to do. I don't expect any of you to constantly work all the time here. But, as I said, I really do appreciate the time you all spend on FWT working on these requests. So all I can say is that I am sorry that I can only do simple things and thank you for working on this request. :D

small.png How about a pocket version.
The graphics posted here are just for your viewing.
Your site logo will be small - the printers version will be really big.
Concentrate on what you want, pull those thoughts out of your head.
Would you believe Google Earth? I 'm sure you know that girl.
    How about this one!

    Oh to be young again...
In life you get one team name, one set of colors and one logo.
Not two not three only one.
Again - Concentrate on what you want. Speak your mind.

    Focus

The second image looks good. Only adjustment that I would suggest, would be to put bullets or something in between the 3 "P" words.

The first image has a decent look feel to it. In my head I can see it being slightly slimmer. The top starts out the right width, but it gets bigger towards the bottom. This is the shield shape I see in my head: http://www.north45pub.com/wp-content/gallery/random-site-pics/sjfc_us_soccer_logo.jpg

It comes straight down and shrinks to the point. It's worth a try to see what it looks like.

    Icy Days of January

Same here in SC. It's been pretty icy, but y'all have gotten the rough part of the storm. Our power went out for hours around here. Kinda sucked. That looks great! That captures the ideas I had in my cluttered mind. Great job!

They say if you look deep enough you can find organization out of chaos or in your case clutter:D

Here is the final zipped up.
Inside you will find two png files with the alpha channel (transparent).
The small one you can reduce down as needed for a website with no loss in detail. The larger one is marked for the printer or you can send him the eps file I have included. Post when you downloaded it so we can remove the zip file.

    Good luck with the teams.

I live north of Atlanta up in the mountains.
When I built the house years ago I installed a fireplace, potbelly stove, backup generator. 1000 gallon propane tank, space heaters and solar panels and a food cellar.
Just to be self sufficient. As when it gets bad we are locked in for the duration. Getting down the mountain road just doesn't work even with 4 wheel drive.

Glad to have been of help.
Remember to play all the team members - in the long run it develops their character and everyone wins. Doesn't matter how many matches you win or loose at their age.

    Soccer is Amazing

North Atlanta? Didn't know there was really a difference. No offense. Jeez! 4-Wheel drive doesn't do anything? That's crazy. Sounds like a pretty good house though. Only mountains I have ever been to were the mountains in Virginia so I kinda have an idea of what you're going through.

Yeah, that's one thing I have been learning. To encourage development, gettin some sort of playing time is important. Since we are a small town, we don't get the luxury of picking players from a farm development academy like CESA & SCUFC (formerly CUFC). My team had its first year this past fall and needless to say, we didn't win. We play up 2 age groups, but that is no excuse to us. As the season progressed we continued to develop and actually gave some teams a good game. My girls & I went through a rough season, but even after it was over, they all said that they were ready to get back together in the fall to get better and develop their skills more to become better as a individual players and as a team. So I was proud.

**also dont forget to remove the zip file**
