Hosting Free Web Hosting

Here is a free web hosting provider that I actually use for one of my sites. You get 250MB of space. As with any free web host, you'll get those annoying advertisment banners on your site but for some reason 250free seems to have more than "normal." And of course you have the option to buy space which then would remove the advertisments.

Check out the list of free web hosting here and tryout a couple to see which one you like. I tested out a couple: wdn.site90.com, odcms.webege.com, odcms.limewebs.com

They all seemed to work but note that some will remove your site if it is inactive for a period of time. Also, they all have some restriction but for a small site it should not be a problem.

 

I should note that when I first signed up with 250free (long time ago) one of the big no-no's was that you were not allowed to just store stuff there. You actually have to have a site. Not sure if that's still the case.
