In spite of the fact that your sites are in Portuguese, I really liked the second one. I mean http://www.outroolhar.com/. It’s well designed and it’s easy to navigate.

And now I’d like to give my thoughts considering http://www.irmaosmaia.com/. The pictures in the header look like clouds in the sky. I like this decision of yours :)
Though I would suggest making the font in “A empresa” page a little bigger.
I liked your works and www.t3-web.com/maia.html as well!

    About: http://www.irmaosmaia.com/index.html

I'm not sure I like the blue sky with clouds flying by for no apparent reason. It adds a little dimension and color I suppose but to me it seems like some wasted space - but that's just me.

Maybe consider having the horizontal menu be just above the text and site's content instead of above the clouds and parked in a different neighborhood from the text? What do you think? I rely heavily on content so I must admit I'm at a bit of a disadvantage to give you my best critique.

Also, looks like there's an image up at the top left which is great for branding, but I'd like to maybe see the brand picture in the web address (i.e. just before the http://) to enhance the corporate image.

And just giving my honest review. The site seems a little bland, but then again how do you pimp-out a construction website? Maybe make the background surrounding the template a little darker in color so that the text area "pops?"

    Also on this page: http://www.irmaosmaia.com/index-4.html
there's a word I can only read half of. The top half of the word is covered by the clouds. When I highlighted and copied so I could paste the word in here this is what pasted:

    Projectos
Aqui pode ver algumas das obras por nós realizadas bem como Obras em curso e acompanhar a sua evolução.

The word I see half of is "evolugao." I'm using FireFox, maybe it shows better in IE?

I do like the simplistic and easy to use navigation of the site. If anything, I'd just like to see the site have a little depth, and I think mixing another bolder color in there might do the job.

    For website: http://www.outroolhar.com/

As with the previous site, I'd like to see that round logo up in the address bar as well. The site also took about 25 seconds to load on my computer for the first time. Most online shoppers have the attention span of a 2 year old watching a documentary on how snow melts during a presidential debate :p.

The landing page didn't tell me much other than it's a sunglasses site, I believe? When designing websites or creating a subscription option, I try to minimize the number of "clicks" guests must make. I want the Why here, Why us, and What's in it for you made to my site's visitor immediately, with no delay.

Ideally, when I type in a web address I don't want to have to click again to actually get to the site's information. By creating that extra step, the company's USP (Unique Selling Proposition
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unique_selling_proposition) isn't immediately known.

Also, not sure I'm into the continuous elevator music playing automatically?

I like how when you click on the menu items the page loads quickly and I also LOVE the use of bold colors over the not-too-dark background.

Anyway, I hope you take those thoughts as constructive criticism. I always try to offer something other than simply saying, good job. Obviously you know your stuff and you've already done a good job.

Am I right about all this? Well, I'm not rich and powerful . . . Yet! ;)

    I like this website http://www.outroolhar.com/
There is nothing to say bad about it: everything is in its place. I like the design, it's simple and sophisticated, the color scheme is perfect. The only thing I would change is the titles on the 'Contactos' page: the titles are duplicated in the left and right blocks of the page.

http://www.irmaosmaia.com/ - is there a way to turn off the music?
And frankly speaking, this header doesn't impressed me, it's moving constantly and irritates a bit. And as for me, your menu buttons are too flashy (it's my personal opinion, but tastes differ :) ) I agree with the previous post that there is too much wasted space.

But anyway, good work! Keep it on!

I personally "hate" the Irmaosmaia.com site...
I did it all acording to the clients orders, they love it like it is ...

I tried to turn their mind to use this website www.t3-web.com/maia.html ,
but they preferred the other one... can you believe it?
All my websites have my company´s name and logo (t3-web) but this one doesn´t, because i don´t like the final result and i want to skip "bad advertising"..
    Thanks for all the comments...
