Legacy Youth football league logo, help please.

Hi,
Very excited I joined FWT! Need help coming up with a logo for a youth football organization. We just finished our second year, but for the first couple years we have been using random logo's. Greatly appreciate any help! I just became a member so will be looking to help anywhere I can.

The logo will be used for the web, shirts, jerseys and Helmet decals


6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
One logo is located on the website. It is a Green letter "C" with two swords.

7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
Text and Image

8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
Green and Gold are primary but anything else to make it stand out would be great.

9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
Purple or Silver

10) Describe the target audience for your logo
Kids and parents

11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
Nothing specific to communicate, just looking for something the league can be known by. Second year league that has been using different types of logo’s.

12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
This will be used for Shirts, Jerseys, Mugs, stickers and helmet decals.

13) Do you have other info or links you want to share? Helmets are Gold color, so the base color should be different to stand out a little.

14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
No specific style of Font

Below is something similiar to what I am looking for but without the face. Maybe the letter "C" or a sword? I welcome any ideas or any help.
The local high school using just the face below.

 

Ishkey, Thanks for responding. Yes it is American football. I am the newly elected Vice President of the league, I look over all the football equipment and I am also an assistant head coach to the 9 and 10 year old teams. We have a total of five teams and the ages range from 7 to 14 years old and the cheerleaders 4 to 14. I mentioned earlier, we just finished our second year and I'm am looking for something that the league can be identified with. We have you a couple different logo and havent been able to find one concrete.. It is a non-profit organization established to provide local youth with a positive influence, to teach them team work, responsibility and hard work. I forgot to mention that i am willing to Donate to anyone willing to help aswell.
