Others Website for 10 U Softball team

    Hi, I am looking update our Softball team website. One of the parents volunteered to do the site, but it was left unfinished and unmanageable for me to update. The website is kaosfastpitch.com. I love the dark color but would like to put photos across the top and our sponsors on the bottom. Any advice or templates would be appreciated.

    Some very strange programming going on with that site.
    A Flash based Menu - not a good idea for that type of site.
    A table layout - which will restrict what you can do unless you know how to adjust the tables.

    My suggestion would be to take a look at Joomla it is a open source CMS software (Content Management Software). Well designed for Sports Websites. They have several free templates. Set up the one you like. Templates are kinda like the floor plan of your house. All the rooms are empty until you fill them up and you can easily remodel anytime you want. You work in the Administrative side, back end as they say, putting in your content and pictures.
    Since you are with GoDaddy most likely they offer it on your Control Panel (the place on GoDaddy servers where your website is stored.) with an automatic install program to load it.

    Joomla has a small learning curve but once you learn it, managing the information for your site will be a breeze. You can have a whole bevy of fun stuff for the team and parents. Gallery, Calendar, Forum, Chat, emails and more. You just install a the module you want to perform the task you want.
    No Programming required.
    Yep sounds like that's just what you need.

    I will definately take a look at what you have suggested. Thank you for your help.:) I have been running wild with the "administrative" duties, as well as coaching. I am so glad I found this site!

    My pleasure - I'm sure someone knows of some sports templates out there besides the ones you my find on Joomla site.
    It will all get easer once things are set up right. You will even be able to assign other people areas to maintain and give them passwords to login and take care of things, thus freeing you up.

    I wanted to let you know I am not ignoring the advice, I just got website transferred to my name today and hope to find time to play with it on my own by this weekend to see if I can follow some of your thoughtful suggestions! Again thank you for your advise! It has not fallen on deaf ears! : )

    I am going in to work on our team website(kaosfastpitch.com) tonight. I was looking at some templates, though I am not sure if I can pull it off. Can someone please look at the website utahsting.com and tell me if it looks like something simple (template wise) to do> Any other advice? Will let you know how it turns out. Perhaps a review will be up and coming : ) Thank you for everyone's help!

    Please help

    I am on our team website, still trying to complete in. I tried to get into WEBSITE TONIGHT after I watched a few tutorials on You Tube. I cannot even find where I need to be to begin to change it. PLEASE HELP
