    Hi,
    Thanks for the offer. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I registered my domain name. Then I paid for 2 years hosting and I haven't build the site as yet but the domain company is advertising on my site as parked domain. How can I remove their links and all? Or what are the necessary steps to take to have my website up and running?

    It's best to post your questions in the proper forum.
    Most likely there is a index.html file in your directory on the server showing the adds, replace it with your own.
    Your other question is to vague. Find the right forum and give us some detail of where you are in understanding websites and servers.

    I've been reading your remarks/ advises to other members and I was hoping you don't scrare me away. I am a beginner in this whole thing. I have been learning on free tutorial you recommended. Very few people make me laugh, but you are fantastic.......good sense of humor.....keep up the good work.:D

    Ishkey,
    I thought so~~~~~~~~ha, hope you can help me here seriously. I am trying to replace the text from a downloaded template. The links are not working. I tried NVu which is a little easier to navigate but I guess I need to get more familiar with linking and hyperlinking etc. I'll bark if I need any help. Thanks for the laugh too, you're funny.
