    Good Morning, from sunny England.....

Firstly, wow this is all very mind blowing and over whelming...

New job, now start to try and work for myself. Put together a intro website (PLEASE, PLEASE dont laugh) and humbled by what everyone has done, feel like a 4year old with a box of colouring pens....

I have was made to leave my old job... so here am I in the Big wide world, starting on my own... and now feeling sad and silly..

Basically looking to source and sell motor cars to pay my family bills...

So would love (need some friendly) help (probably too much) and advice with building/design of a website/pages... especially after you have looked at my powerpoint effort...

would love to have the ability to have something smart and be able to show off my cars...

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE can someone take me under their wing and help/advise...

    David...

When I loaded your site I got some message about 'better results if I had the latest Internet Explorer browser. (Like many, many others I have Firefox, wouldn't use IE if you paid me to)
I did get an option to look at it without having the 'latest IE' and all I got was a black page.

Best to check results in other browsers.

Nice to meet you anyway. :)

    Cheers

I didn't know powerpoint can be used for websites - novel idea.
From all your other posts I would suggest you start by reading the "Sticky Posts" and then bring yourself up to speed by reading some of the other posts. You are not the only one who has to feed the family. Take 1/2 a day now so you won't waste time later.

Thank you for the reads and comments...

I have been playing with a site making program that is sort of with my host domain provider...

It has some simple templates and adjusting them of sorts, but would like to make use of the space my host has for my domain.

Is there a simple program that I can use as a WYSIWYG editor for the sort term... and one that will generate a site that works with Fire Fox and the like...

    I like allycode it's a free html editor http://www.alleycode.com/
even though the download page states not recommened for vista, if thats what your op system is right click on the file and install as admin, it should work with no problem. give it a try.
