Legacy Sports Game Guy logo request

First of all I have been looking through the logo's you guys make and they are absolutely amazing.

To start this is my website:
The Sports Game Guy

It is dedicated to having all the latest in sports video game information.

This is our logo right now:

As you can see it is very plain. This is actually a logo that I like and would be a good base:

I like the stars on top, Maybe they could be different sports balls (Football, Soccer ball, Baseball, Tennis ball ect) Just an idea.

I also like how they have there name in short in the box. For us that would be "SG"
and I also like how they have the full title under, for us "The Sports Game Guys"

Hopefully that is enough information...I know you guys will come up with something great.

Obviously the overall theme is something simple but unique..thanks!

Last request is to get a PNG Photoshop file so I can potentially change the colors. Basically because I think we are going to switch our template soon.

We can't copy the PES logo but can do something else for you though..I have a idea for the design so i'll post it up sometime tomorrow...

Right, i've done 1 so far..

If you don't like it then just let me know..i'll be glad to help..i'll make other ones aswel but all the words spell out 'SG' and are related to either the website or sports..also you can use the words for your keywords describing the site which can put you in a higher place in google..up to you but let me know on this.see if you like it i'll make others in the mean time as well

I like the second one better to be honest, but I do think the first one is extremely creative.

Is there anyway we can skip out on backgrounds and make it a png file so I can use it on anything? That would be a huge help!
