Legacy Simple business logo

Hello,

I've recently started up a company together with four friends.
We do IT solutions, coding various applications for both desktop and mobile use.
Obviously I'm here because we're looking for a better logotype for our business.

This is how the current logotype looks like, I made it very quick and simple in Photoshop.


Here's some information:

1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Invictux

2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?
http://invictux.com (Currently under progress, more or less just lorem ipsum. Can't promise it will be up when you're looking due to maintanance with our server machines)

3) Description of your website or business:
General IT business, developing applications.

4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
the style you are looking for?
Not too 'fancy'. Should be simple and easy to remember when you see it.

5) Requested size of your logo:
As high as possible. Vector format would be the best, but I'm not going to make you do something you don't want to. So as high as possible. Suppose .png would be the best format to go with.

6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
No

7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
The text is most important, maybe if you got a good idea for an icon/image then go ahead.

8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
I believe silver would be the best color.

9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
It's a professional business so obviously not too playful colors like...pink.

10) Describe the target audience for your logo
People wanting to use our products or looking for our service. People wanting to invest.

11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
Our name, professional look, easy to remember.

12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Websites, in various UI's, business cards, signs.

13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
No.

14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.Currently I'm using "Faucet" since I've got the license to use it for professional use. It can be found here. Faucet Font | dafont.com. If you think another font will be a better fit and there's a license to use it, then go ahead.

Additional words:
I've given you all some guidelines but there's no limitations, I rather see a bad logotype than noone at all.

I liked your logotype the best, it was very simple and neat.

Nicely done but the 3D style doesn't really fit as a logotype in my opinion.

The second post (and second logo) was better, maybe too much colors?
