    Hi,

I am putting up a ecommerce website and want any advice to help secure it against hackers. I know it's not a 100% percent thing, but I want to know as much as I can, especially because I will be accepting payments.

And in addition, does anyone have another source for payment processing other than Paypal (cuz it sucks the big one). Looking for something that will not cost too much.

    Thanks in advance

    Stacey

First off go to: www.happyhackers.org they can show people how to prevent hackers on you computer and site. Plus they have some neat tricks for your own computer. But i only recommend this like 25%; there are better places.

As for your other question try a google search (this could work for your hacking problem as while). I use Paypal and have not had much problem with them. But to each their own.

But Ya try google (they always work for me).

I used cubecart to do the stor eon my site, its really easy to use as its totally customisable. There are regular updates available so its kept pretty secure and there are like 20 options on how you receive payment.
