Legacy Ruby Crest Logo Problems

    Hi

    I am hoping someone can help me with a logo I am trying to convert to vector (attached, I have just updated this with a clearer version of the logo that has just been sent to me)

    I have tried using the trace option in Illustrator but my skills are very basic to say the least and it looks awful :(

    Its for my local Rugby team.

    Would anyone be kind enough to help out with this?

    Hi

    Many thanks for the link, I did actually try that site after a search I did. The result is better than the original, but still a bit dodgy in places.

    For instance the ribbon part has merged into one, where as the original has two parts. Any other ideas?

    Really appreciate your help.

    Importing the original Graphics into the art board of AI, then
    using the pen tool in AI to trace over the individual shapes works.
    It takes a little time, but worth the effort.
    Kinda like this.

    Thanks for the response, I will give it a go, but like i said my AI skils are very very poor :(

    Try to contribute around the forum and later today, when I get back to the pc I made the vector on, I'll post up the AI file for you to play with and learn from.
