Legacy Request: Website logo for author's site

I'm looking for a logo to go onto the front of the homepage. I'm looking for something fun but professional at the same time. I would like to have something with bookshelves in the background. Is there anyway to have the site name billyburgessonline on one of the shelves. A antique desk with a typewriter on it. There could be a cat sitting on an chair in the corner. Maybe a rug!

Three sites that I like:
www.rlstine.com - I like the glowing "R.L. Stine" sign.
www.beverlycleary.com - I like the "Dear" picture with all the books stacked around.
www.louissachar.com - I like the book and the window.


4) Requested size of your logo: doesn't matter, I want it to go onto the center of the home page of the site. Nothing great big, but too small either.

5) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo ( only copyright free ones )? No I couldn't find any.

6) Any colors you prefer? antique colors, something that would match my site on the website. But my favorite colors are hunter green, dark blue and dark red.
