Legacy Request for gaming logo refinement

Hi,

I've been wanting to do make youtube videos and streams of me playing and reviewing games for a while now and would like a logo to go with that. I really liked the logo i made for myself in the uncharted 3 multiplayer but it needs to be touched up.

I started out with a tear drop shape and added some eyes to it and what I want done is to have the top be like fire in the wind and make the eyes look better. Also adding in yellow, orange or blue to the top would look great i think. The image I made is just a rough design pretty much so feel free to change it. I would however like it to stay somewhat simple.
