Legacy Reqeust for netball club crest/logo

    Hi there,

    I have been asked set up a website for a new netball club that my daughter plays in - Casey City Power Netball Club Inc. I have the domain name (caseycitypowernc.org.au) and webhost - just need to set it up now.

    The Club has been set up for open age players and has ladies and mixed teams.

    The Club's colours are navy blue, ocean (a medium turquoise) and white. The uniform features long, thin lightning bolts - I can email a pdf file containing a mock up of the uniform that you can get colours from.

    With respect to the logo design, the Club is open to suggestions but would like an eyecatching yet simple logo which will be used for the website and uniforms etc. The logo that Covert Pea designed for the Ashbourne Netball Club is a great example of what I mean.

    It would be appreciated if we could have 2 versions of the logo, one on a white background and the other on a navy background if this is possible.

    Posting your pdf mock up would be a great help.
    PDF's up to 1.91MB can be posted directly on to the forum. Otherwise, zip it up and post here as an attachment please.

    Hi Covert Pea,

    Please see the attached file. The bright blue is actually more turquoise than blue. I went onto www.colourpicker.com and this is about the closest match I could get #55DAD9. Hope this helps.

    By the way, the Club is more than happy to put an acknowledgment on the website for the logo designer and a link to their business if they would like it.

    #55DAD9 comes up okay in photoshop. But the shading alters for the web.
    (#55DAD9 is not a 'web safe' colour.)
    For now though I'll stick with that colour for the logo and see what we can do with it down the track.
    Here's a colouring sample of how the 2 blues look on the web.

    Those colours look great - happy for your to change to whatever is the safest web colour that is closest. Thank you.

    The team name...
    "Casey City Power Netball Club Inc." what part of that do you want on the logo?

    Hi there, I've shown the design to the Club President and he has made the following suggestion:

    At the top, just have Casey City and then put Power N.C. at the bottom
    Where the two white netballs are, put in lightning bolts and in the centre, could you replace the goal ring and the girl's figure with a ball and the figure you used in the Ashbourne Netball Club logo.

    I know you're are busy but just wondering if you have had a chance to make the changes to the logo yet. If not, could you give me a 'guestimate' of when you may be able to look at it. Thanks
