Legacy Project X

    hey guys... need a hand. i'm new to creating websites. i was wondering if you guys could help me with a logo. i'm using the gadget template from this site, and would br grateful if u could make me a 'project x' or 'my project x' logo?

    and be more specific on what you want. I know you need a logo. have any ida on size?
    and "Project X" is what you want it to be?

    thats the url, although i have added a bit more red to my site. the red is the same red used in the templates 'login' button. would it be possible to make the 'X' the same colour in the logo? the size would be roughly the same as the 'top gadget', possibly a bit bigger.

    just added it to the site, looks good. sorry if i'm being fussy though but the background doesnt match. is there anyway the logo could be made without a definate background which would allow me to add it no matter what the background of the site?

    ? its a .png it shouldnt have a background in it :/

    well it doesnt have a background when viewd using dreamweaver, but when the page is viewd through a broswer it has a background, the same colour as it does above.

    thats odd. I put it on my website, as <IMG SRC and I dont get the white background? could it be something your doing wrong? if you know its something wrong with the pic, I will try to do it again..

    well i'm definetly no expert m8 so maybe am doin something wrong, bt it seems straight forward enough lol

    al keep messing about with it bt its getting annoying lol

    well im using dreamweaver. its my first time using any type of web authoring software. i dnt even know him to enter text the way i want it to look bt al get there. but inserting an image im finding difficult coz icant move it to where ever i want.

    hey solemage, a eventually got the logo to insert properly!

    do you think you could possibly give me some more of the same logo but different sizes?

    Shure, I saved the that logo, I knew I would need it again... Give me a list of sizes you would like. :)

    i actually fancy doing a bit of customization myself. is it possible to edit the image u sent me in the first place? and if so what program should i use?

    Photoshop cs2. If you done have it, download from
    adobe.com, they give you a 30 day trial. I will upload the .psd file, so you canopen it and edit what ever you like.
