HTML PROBLEM WITH CODING!!!

    So, I used one of the templates and I am trying to do "http://maughters.com/blog.html" and that STUPID LINE is across the top. here's my coding. How do I move it but keep the rest of that page completely the same.

    Sorry. I was so frustrated yesterday I didn't write much. We are talking about the stupid line across the "Maughters.com/blog.html" page. The problem is when I look at the coding of the other page (the untouched coding) when I change one thing, it messes something else up. It's the "herdesigns" template. It's on the main page of the homepage. I believe this wrong coding will have something to do with the <div>s .

    Very often we try to do things quickly and overlook the important stuff. The best way to use this or any templates is to copy it as is and then replace the parts with your own contents.

    The problem is , when I went to edit so I JUST HAD ONE LITTLE SECTION OF WRITING instead of three, each time I take it out, it screws up the page !! I just want one little section like where it says "May 19th" "Welcome to Maughters" then just "text text text." Everytime I try to do that, it screws up the page.

    Maybe this will help you Jamie. If you look at the code I "commented"out the sections you do not require.
    A comment looks like <!-- some code -->
    I find it is easer to work this way, you can see your success/failure. When you have it to your liking you can go back and delete the "commented code" Another thing you have to learn when it comes to coding is everything followed by the next item. Kinda like stacking blocks, everything touches something.

    Ishkey gave you a very good suggestion. You could also just physically remove those sections you do not need like what I did here:
