Queuing Poetess and Authoress Site with Fixed Background

• Website description:
  I am an authoress and poetess of 14 books, and sell my books through my site. I try to make an engaging, thought-provoking place where seekers of knowledge feel at home, yet I wish to do it with a touch of the mystical (such as a haunting forest background).
  
  
• The Structure of my website:
  I would like a fade in text across the top of the page, with these links: Home, Books, News & Events, Bio, and Contact. Under that I would like my official logo, which I have uploaded here. To the right of the fade in text I want my picture, which has also been uploaded.
  I want a fixed haunting forest background, which I have also uploaded, and this to remain fixed on each page. Text scrolls over it.
  In the middle of the main page (home) I want a slightly bordered image in black, that shows my latest book as a large image-- to the right of that I would like to be able to write something short about the book, and have a link to buying it.
  Beneath that I would like a clicked-on slideshow that shows each of my books in tinier images, and if you click the image it expands so you can learn more about the book, and then click a link in the text there to buy it.
  Books page would simply have my logo at top, and then each book would be on the left side of the screen, with its corresponding description and way to buy it on the right.
  News & Events would be very simple, just a picture of a woman's hand writing on the left, the main logo on the top, and the news would be written down the page.
  Bio, another simple page-- just a few pictures of me spaced throughout some text. Main logo still at top.
  Contact, simplest page, logo at top, and my contact info.

  I do not want to use Wix because their ads make me look unprofessional. Plus, there is just not enough control over a Wix site.
