Graphics Please Help With Logo

Hi,
I am trying to start up my own business making custom PC's etc, I am fine with the hardware side of it but when it comes to software I am rubbish, The business is called SVS Computers. Does anyone know of either a good program I can use that gives me some excellent results and pretty easy to use or can anyone do me a logo to show the kind of results I can expect with a bit of learning. Actually is there a site with a tutorial that I can look at to show me step by step in creating a logo and even a website? I am using photoshop cs2 v9 and dreamweaver cs3.
