    1) What is your website address (ex: http://site.com ; Site Name)?
Pivotal Images- Pivotal Images - Home (I will be re-designing my website around my ideal colors and the logo that I like best.)

    2) Description of your website:

My website's sole purpose is to introduce potential clients to the work that I do and to give them a feeling of what I'm about as a person and photographer.

    3) List 3 logo designs you really like & why:
I like script fonts, and recently found the Renaissance font, which I like quite a bit. I've always liked damask like designs so the curly design is appealing to me.

    4) Requested size of your logo: Various Resolutions... I will be using this as a logo on the web, on my packaging, on a car decal, etc.

    5) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
    Unfortunately I have nothing. :-(

    6) Any colors you prefer?
The colors I prefer are those I've added to the images above, I just can't decide if I want to go Brown and Blue or Brown and Green:
    Brown-6b402b
    Blue-d5fff6
    Green- d7e477

You did not say what wording you wanted on the logo.
Anyway I was playing around trying out something new, I know this is not what you posted, but I thought I put it up anyway. Hope you don't mind.

Oh, no, I don't mind at all. I do have to say that is very neat. I only wish I had the skills many of you here on the forum have!

As for wording... abbreviating Pivotal Images to PI is a bit odd at times, since it abbreviates to Pi, but if someone can create a logo out of that rather than using the whole words, I would be interested in seeing it. I'm sorry I didn't mention that in the original post.

Always the more information you can give the better it is.
Think of it as a photo shoot - If you were to give the client unlimited freedom to have you shoot pictures - you would moving in a 100 directions - you would be pulling your hair out - plus you would go broke in the process.
Creating a graphic takes time, key strokes, mouse movements and pen strokes, if only the software had a high speed motor on it, life would be easier.
So if you can think of any thing that would help the Graphic Artists - post it. Use your Creativity to point them in the direction you are thinking of.
It will help them focus in on the design.
As for me I'm just a coder who dabbles in graphics and moderates on the forum.
    Love your Critter pics.

Thanks CP I'm still working the bugs out of the A and S

Nice clean look you presented - adds a touch of the damask look pivotalimages is fond of.
I hope I didn't scare her off with my above comments - as she keeps looking here.

Haha, nope you didn't run me off. I tend to open one too many tabs throughout the day, so this site has been opened for quite some time today. ;)

I know exactly what you mean when it comes to creating graphics, considering I do complete body-reconstructing with some of the images I produce... a high speed motor would be great! lol

Thanks so much for checking out my site. Several of the pups on there are mine, but I'm hoping to shoot more pets in the future. :)

    Hi there CP,
I really like what you came up with since you were able to mix not only the abbreviation of the name, but the full name of the business as well. The design you created with the PI really reminds me of family roots, something I'm all about, so that's a great touch!

Do you think the logo would be a bit overkill if it were done in a script font? I tend to stick to Georgia or Renaissance, fonts of that nature, when I do any sort of typing and would really like to stay consistent throughout the business. Or do you think the logo of the business should be different?

Sorry, I'm being so demanding... is it possible to see this logo in the colors I've opted to use moving forward?

I had a go at changing the "P and I" to a ½ dozen different script fonts and none 'fitted'.
I thought the best idea would be to post the file below (right click and save as .png) so you can try some for yourself.

    Cheers
    CP

Thanks so much. I tried a few different fonts and agree, nothing really fit. The only other fonts I found, that I liked were, Goudy Old Style & Monotype Corsiva, however it didn't look as good as what you created due to the height of the font. :)

CP, I cannot thank you enough for creating the logo you have created for my business. I do hate to bother you, but would it be possible to receive copies of the logo in the following color codes:

    Brown-6b402b
    Blue-d5fff6

    &
    Brown-6b402b
    Green- d7e477

I have no idea which set of colors I plan to use for my business, and would really like to use all three together, I'm just unsure of how to mix them all.

Also, do you have any stipulations for how the logo is to be used? What I plan to do is use the logo on my website, as well as on a window decal on my vehicle. In addition, I will be using the PI portion of the logo as a stamp/brush on any images I upload on the web: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/p...6840531?ref=ts

Also, do you have a website I can link to my website to show support for the work that you do?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just very excited with what you've created!

Thanks, and hope to talk soon.

Here's the colours with two extra (bottom line).
I've added a ½ cream background so you can see what they's look like on something other than white.
IMO, the blue you've chosen is way too bright for a logo.
Goudy old style really isn't much different to the originally used Engravers MT font. (see two-toned green)

 Oops, forgot to answer your questions.
None at all, except perhaps if someone asks who did it, tell them you got it from FWT.

    Nope. I don't have a website.
