    1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
The text is simple, it must be JmG, the small 'm' is deliberate.

    2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?
    N/A

    3) Description of your website or business:
    N/A

    4) Have you found any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
the style you are looking for?
    N/A

    5) Requested size of your logo:
At the moment it will generally be used as artwork to attach to tracks I make, I will probably be looking into getting myself a t-shirt with the logo but in saying that, it's not that important.

    6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
I don't have any images, but what I'm looking for is a simplistic small design within the text or around it. This can be a neat symbol, funky underline, something that takes away from being completely plain, but minimalistic.

    7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
As I mentioned in Q6, a simplistic design with the text

    8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
You can use any one or all of these colours as you see fit to match: Black, Bright Yellow, Cyan and Orange.

    9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
I'd prefer using the selection supplied above, but if you wish to add other colours please avoid using green, purple, red, they're just colours I don't like to be honest.

    10) Describe the target audience for your logo
It's something for people to see when they play my track and can stick in their minds. I'm generally going to create Dance/Trance/Techno tracks if that information helps.

    11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
Hmm, this is a hard one to explain, I guess originality, fresh/new,

    12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
You should be able to get the info you need from Q5, but it's basically to be artwork to attach to tracks and put on a CD label/Cover.

    13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
    N/A

    14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
The font is what I honestly leave to the designers, you know what you are doing to make it look good, I would like the entire logo to have a 3D look, rather then simple 2D.

Obviously these questions are answered to help you with creating the logo, but please feel free to use your own creativity, I'd prefer to see a designers image rather than one I've laid out for him to make, if you can understand that.

If you need any further specific information then just ask :)

Any designs will be greatly appreciated, thanks a lot :)

I have been looking at you request and trying different things but nothing seems to be clicking, let along if remotely worth posting for you to even comment on.
Maybe at least for me a tad more in-site as to your vision.

Well, going with my vision, it will be a logo to establish myself with, I'd like there to be some recognition symbol when it comes time for me to start up a website. I don't want to make a site and have the logo just appear, I'd want some history to come with it, you know?

I'll make an attempt as best I can at some point today if I can, if not then tomorrow.

Is this like a personal logo to represent yourself (like mine) or is it for a future company?

JmG as we ahave already seen some of your work, would be a great help if you could do a mock up so the rest of us can work on it (great example being what happened to Enclaveans logo) as like Ishkey I'm lost on where to start

Mr Ish, like the first 1, great idea with speaker!!!
Nice with the notes running through the letters too

Combine the 2 then 3d might work?

Belive it or not the first on is 3d and took to long to get the color and shadow right.
No way I would try to incorporate notes.
Think I'll just hang out for awhile and wait.
(got this pain in the back side web I am working on - very demanding customer you know)

Yes we know it is for you - it's just dare I say really hard working with the letters, particularity your last one, just doesn't seem to fit with the Jm and my mind just can't come up with the next Nike Swoosh.
By the way did you know that woman got $38 dollars for her work (Nike was poor back then) but when they went public with their stock - Mr Nike (not his real name) bestowed on her a couple hundred thousand shares of stock - she is doing just fine now.
So as said we will wait until you do toss something up on the old forum.
    What Forest said...

Right, I'll definitely get something up tomorrow! even if I'm up all night!

When you say it's hard working with the letters, don't be afraid to make them different sizes etc, like have the J & G together like so: JG and the m overlapping in the middle/bottom.

i'll try and get a bit more research done to find some similar designs i'd like or what.

If any of you seen E's logo, that's the sort of simplistic/fresh look I'm going for, without the background though.

I didn't really go with any style, I just started and kept adding things but hopefully it'll help.

The main thing is the actual logo itself, like I don't know if I want something surrounding it, or like a badge etc :(

Ok, at this particular moment the .png & .psd files are refusing to upload! Grr

    wohoo .png uploaded!

Yeah, ok, I know, this has a lack of colour, but colour is where I fail! badly! It's annoying because I've made some pretty decent sigs before :(
