Legacy odd request??

    Greetings talented folks. I have an online gift store at www.unique-expressions.biz and am looking at venturing out into the photography world. I would like to see if anyone would help me with a logo. The odd part of the request is that my last name is Peace so I do not want it to be "hippy" or "flower child" and my first name is Tamara - thus giving me initials of "TP" (toilet paper!)

    You can see from my site I love black, red, white and apple green. The logo does not have to be any of them - those are just favorites. I see that most photographers use their name and the word photography underneath. That is fine with me but would love something with a bit of flair!

    I love damask prints and elegant fonts. I have no idea what size I need since I am new at this stuff. I have read the list of several photographers asking for logos and I seem to be in a very similar boat as most of them.

    I do not want to wear out my welcome per say so I am off to see if I can contribute in some way to other here. I believe in paying it forward!

    Hi Tamara.

    It's nice to see your way of thinking in giving first (will go down well here)

    I'm only new at the design side (very very new in fact) but no doubt with CP, GG, Gnoble ,Ish etc they would no doubt help you out.

    I will give it a bash, but I'm sure others will blow me out the water but hey ho as they say.

    Hi J - thanks for the kind words. I have been looking all over and reading all sorts of things. I have not seen much I can help with yet but I am looking! I know I am contribute someplace :) Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

    I gave it a go (but like I said I'm new at this) if nothing else you can compare with others, what you like or not :eek:

    As to help out, it's mainly giving feed back to others on sites etc, as it goes every little helps (even my designs)

    So does that mean you want an association with "TP" to set yourself apart from the norm and relate to your initials, which would make you very memorable or you have been joked about it too much???

    Odd is right up my alley. :D
    We Shoot The Whole Roll - relates to rolls of film, thus the "TP Roll"

    mickeyfn i've had a go at your request. Also whilst I was making one I came up with another one so I created that too so i'll post them both up :)

    HI everyone - just got back from all the 4th festivities and I am THRILLED with what I see. Ish - that is hysterical - my kids thought it was perfect!

    genuine - I loved the first set initials. Very cool!

    CP - I am glad you did not think of toitlet paper! I have had to deal with that from friends and family since I got married so I just assume everyone thinks of it as well! I like the Talented Photographer!

    J - sooo sorry. Please forgive me! I neglected to say thanks and make a comment on your design. I was overwhelmed last night and did not reply to say I liked your design. I appreciate you taking a shot at it - don't sell yourself short - your have talent!
