Legacy New Logo Help

Guys & Gals , with help designed a very basic driven recruitment site. nothing flash etc.. as my understanding of HTML is all very very basic.. its all done in Dreamweaver so you know..

couple of things i am after a SNL logo with underlined somwhere Simple Effective Recruitment,

But there is a massive bubble thing in the middle of the page i want something that is more Non drawing into there i am a complete white canvas so would be open for any ideas on this.
