Legacy New Business Logo Required

Hi all,

I'm new to both this site and to the business world. As previously mentioned in the "Introduce Yourself" Forum I have setup a new company to help update customers websites with fresh content and add social media elements to their business that they have previously overlooked.

The name of the business is Upd8IT and I would very much like a nice logo to go along with it. So........

1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

3) Description of your website or business:
Helping to keep customers sites updated with fresh content and adding social media elements to their business.

4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
the style you are looking for?


5) Requested size of your logo:
High Res Please as will be used for letterheads, advertising, posters, website, everything.


6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
I can't at present but i will keep looking for sure

7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?

Text and Image – including web address (www.upd8it.co.uk)

8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
red, blue, green, yellow

9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
white, black

10) Describe the target audience for your logo
Business owners

11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
eye catching, friendly,

12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Everywhere, print, web,

13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
I have a visualisation of the logo being bright with each letter either a different colour or containing multiple colours. I also have visions of the digit 8 being made up of either 2 clocks or even better somehow containg a frog(s) with the tongue making the 8 somehow.

14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
Google type lettering would be good
