Legacy Need to get rid of the backround on this logo

    I need to put this logo on my site. I want to get rid of the green background and just have the logo in the oval pattern with the Black ring all the way around it. Can somebody help me with this please.

    To retain the transparent bg, save as a 'png'

    I saved it like you said and then I wanted to shrink it down to this size and this is what I got? Not sure what I did wrong?
