Legacy Need logo for my business and webiste! Quick!

    4) Have you found any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
    the style you are looking for?
    Like the gadget show one, but black. its a sort of classic on button sign.

    5) Requested size of your logo:
    Basically we ask this to determine the graphics resolution and what it will be eventually used for.
    good quality and size.

    6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
    The Gadget show logo, classic power button.

    7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
    Image

    8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
    well just black to be honest, but if you can make a few samples which are like grey aswell that would be great.

    9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
    anything thats not black or grey

    10) Describe the target audience for your logo
    Needs to look professional. It needs to catch the eye of everyone, look sleek and make the competitors look jealous

    11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
    proffesionalism, creativity and imagination

    12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
    It will be used on the webiste, twitter, facebook. also on the employees shirts so it needs to be high quality.

    13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
    business started in 2011 and is going well. should be opening a few shops soon.

    14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
    No text on the logo

    It never ceases to amaze how some people here just demands to get a logo (this time even having a "Quick!" in the title") and doesnt contribute to the community.

    I didn't demand but I needed a catchy title and quick shows urgency which I thought would catch the eye. I'm only 15 so I cant pay people to do this job. This is the point of this site, is it not?

    Sorry but it dos not work that way round here, we all volunteer our time to help other (no pay) so to get posts like yours all it does is rub people up the wrong way, leave you virtually no chance of help.

    Sorry to be blunt but my 13yr old knows how to read and would tell you it is NOT a case of we will create a logo, it clearly states EDIT

    Yes I am planning on opening shops before 2013 but I won't be administrating them as I will be at uni. And I didn't mean to sound aggressive or as if I'm giving orders but I'm new to this site and really did need some help on this sector of promotion as I'm not too firmiliar with it and I was hoping you could help?

    You cant expect to get 2 logos pronto by professional designers, you have to contribute to the community. Everyone here does that, its give and take. I helped out and i got my logo. (Actually a logo for my dad's company)

    I really do not like to hound young people, so lets start again (I'm always the diplomat)

    Here's some pointers for you...
    Opening shops etc, suggest you have money so why should we do hrs of work without pay.
    It does seem unlikely a 15yr old is in a position to do it, so always best not to bragg on forums as others will and have tend not to believe you.

    Look at other threads and how they have done it, supplied samples etc and stopped the designer from doing the leg work, as they just wont.

    Never ever put a word in that would suggest you are impatient or a date you need it by (like in you football logo request)

    Okay thank you for those tips and I'm not rich but I raised money by selling things, winning competitions and doing some work in my neighborhood. This is my dream and I've been planning it for a good couple of years and this is the last piece of the puzzle.

    Also does anybody have any tips on improving my site. I'm purchasing the custom domain tomorrow but for now it's thegen. webs. com

    Your site is not bad but you should check the speeling though. One advantage of getting your own domain is not having someone else ads. Maybe you could replace that with your own and make some money for yourself. Good luck with your business venture.

    Since you signed up for the free package your hosting company is getting the money by inserting those ads. If you pay for the hosting then you should be free to post your own ads instead. Just Google the term making money from ads and you will see countless suggestions on how to set one up.
