I am in need of a logo for a website that doesn't yet exist.
    Here are the details:
URL: mikespond. com. I have the domain and a web host, but no site yet.

Description: The website will be an e-commerce site for pond supplies and services relating to pond construction.

Logo Design: The site will be called, "Mike's Pond" and will be located in the pacific northwest. I would like the logo to say, "Mike's Pond" and have a sub-heading that says something like, "Pond Supplies and Service". I do not want the design to be overly complicated, but would like to see elements that are related to ponds, koi, bamboo. I would not mind if the logo had a Japanese look or feel, though it is not totally necessary to contain this element.

Size: I'm not sure what size would be appropriate for the logo, but I'd rather have it be large, as it will likely be used in-place of a picture that would normally appear at the top of a web page. For example, I would like it to fill the picture area of the architect website template. I think maybe 640 X 480, and it should be reduceable in size, so I can use it somewhere else.

Images/Photos: I have drawn some some things and attempted to build a logo of my own, but I'm not sure it would work well for a website. I'd be happy to post them so you have an idea of what I was originally considering.
Colors: Blues, greens and browns (?) I'm open to suggestions.

Important: I like the architect template. Besides the logo, I'm really looking for someone who can assemble an e-commerce website for me, including shopping cart functionality, gateway, and merchant account connectivity. I'm willing to pay for these services. Let me know if you're up to the task. I have some website experience, and can probably maintain it on my own (once it's built)... but I need a web designer/builder to get me there.

See your pm's. Also, I'm a webhost. I didn't mention that in the pm, but it's something we can talk about. More features offered than most hosts, and at a cheaper cost.
