PHP Need help with updating site-wide navigation

Hello all. I am currently designing my site using both dreamweaver and fireworks. My site has two main navigational menus, one on the left with some links and one on the right with my blog links. The problem is, everytime I update one of these menus, for example add a new blog link, I have to update every page's blog menu so all my page's menus match each other.

Is there a way, other than using frames, that I can edit just one file which will update each of my site's page menus?
