Legacy Need a crest for my new soccer club

I am forming a new soccer club and I need a logo. The full name of the club will be Amherst Gunners FC (just the Gunners for short). We would like to use the Arsenal crest, but instead of it saying "Arsenal", we want it to say "Gunners". If possible, we'd also like to fit the word "Amherst" in smaller letters above where it says "Gunners", but so that "Gunners" is the most prominent part. Our colors are red and white so we'd like to have the crest just be those colors. If possible, we'd also like it to say "Est. 2012" underneath the cannon. If someone can do this for me, I'd really appreciate it. --Trevor

I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out. I'll definitely go through and review websites and contribute however I can. I'm not an expert, but I can give my best feedback.

I like the cannon used in the Arsenal logo. I think it would be cool if the logo was similar to the shape of the one pasted below.

At the top of the logo I want it to say "Amherst Gunners". If possible I want the word "Amherst" to be above the word "Gunners". I'd like "Gunners" to be in a bigger font than "Amherst" so that "Gunners" stands out. At the bottom of the logo is where I want it to say "Est. 2012". I'd also like it to say "Football Club" somewhere near the bottom of the crest. Colors would be just varsity red and white, perhaps with some black accents.

I would like to eventually have the logo stitched onto our uniforms so high resolution would be great.

I've been browsing around reviewing websites, but it seems that I've reviewed a lot of the recent ones and the other other ones seem to be pretty old. Is there anything else I can do to help out in the meanwhile?

We had a few ideas. We'd like it if the top of the crest could just say "Amherst Gunners" and then where it currently says "Established 2012", we'd put "Football Club". Then we want to put "Est. 2012" right underneath the cannon. If that could be put so it was on a scroll that would be cool. I was thinking of one that's kind of the shape of the scroll in this crest, but any type of scroll would look cool.

Then to balance it out, we were thinking we could put our motto in Latin on another scroll right above the cannon. I'm new to this so I don't really know the copyright rules, but could we put "Victoria Concordia Crescit"? That's Arsenal FC's motto. If not, I'll come up with a different one in Latin.

As I said, I'm new to this. Would adding this much detail to the crest make it a) too difficult and/or b) too expensive to put on jerseys? Is it even possible to put that type of detail on the crest?
