    I teach middle school computers and am an amateur at best at web design.

    I want to do a project with a class where the students create static webpages that will become a QR code tour of our school. So, anyone with a phone can scan the QR and be taken to a page with a writeup of the classroom or area.

    Just found this site, and I've tinkered around a lot with the templates and have been reading all kinds of different threads educating myself. I've modified the stylesheets and graphics to be 320 px wide and aligned everything to the left, however when I view the page on a phone, it is zoomed out showing the background. Once it zooms in, it looks great. How do I set the page up so that the phone automatically zooms in on the content and ignores all the background?

    Got it figured out... I added a meta tag in the header that fixed the issue...

    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width; initial-scale=1.0; maximum-scale=1.0; user-scalable=0;" />

    What smart phone are you designing for, or what OS.
    What editor are you using for your web pages.
    You teach computers. Is it hardware, software, applications, or ..

    I find a need for more hardware forums because one doesn't always know the solution. I have an old compaq computer and HP doesn't usually know compaq so the forums are my best solution. Also Computer Hope
